Mahogany Town is pretty great all around, don't you think? [ Just a couple weeks ago, she was back in New Bark Town and she's made it this far? ] I guess it's an unfair advantage knowing people who can use Fly and get you from place to place pretty quick. No complaints here though!

[ It might have been difficult to tell where she was had she not announced it. There's aluminium bleachers stacked up behind her and she's picked up a new shirt with longer sleeves. Not that she'll need it for much longer as spring is approaching, but it's nice to wear at a skating rink. ]

There's a couple people I know who have been here for a long time, like, long enough to actually grow here? What happens when they return to our world? Wouldn't someone back home notice the changes? [ Of course they would, everyone in Konoha has an astute memory and something being off physically is a red flag that something's up. A red flag that can't be ignored easily. ] It's a concern because a few of my comrades have returned home after living in this world long enough to change physically so I'm concerned about their fate.

Doesn't it change our future? Wouldn't I remember something since I'm ahead of them in the timeline?

This topic must come up a lot here when people get sent home, but I've wondered it myself since... well, I left? [ But she didn't return home. This is something she's not interested in making public information however, so she just frowns in favor of an explanation. ]

Oh, I think Naruto's finally got his skates on. Time to see what's so fun about sliding around on ice--but hey, will you leave me your answers? Just a little should be enough to give me peace of mind.

It makes sense though. That many things are happening at once. It must be rather complex for the system to even grab us. Maybe that's why we come from different time periods. The amount of work it must be to grab us can cause an inconsistency with time because of the complexity.

I wish there were more information that could help us figure this out.

It would be something else if we could learn to control what it is!

It'd be terrible if our enemies could learn to control it... but I don't think we have that many people here to worry about. Team Rocket itself is still fairly small, isn't it?

[ Laughing nervously. ] I'd hate to be brought in when I was younger. I've grown so much since then and it'd be embarrassing otherwise.

That would be terrible. The last we want is for them to be able to control that kind of thing. But I haven't really seen Team Rocket around. They seem to pop up once in awhile, but they aren't a constant existence. Is it because they're small or because they're smart enough not to cause trouble all the time?

I don't know if I'd hate being brought in younger. Maybe it wouldn't be so great since all my friends would be so much farther ahead on the timeline than myself.

I imagine it can't be easy for either party.

[ Her tone softens as if she's speaking on a sensitive subject. Maybe it's something she's endured herself? ]

Knowing that someone has yet to see events in their future . . . those who are farther ahead might do all they can to shield them from it and those who are behind always feel as if they're missing out in a conversation. It's difficult.

No. On one hand. Someone is behind and they don't know what's happened between their moment in time and the other person's. On the other hand, that person doesn't know what they should or shouldn't say.

But there's a lot to learn from it too! Maybe you do something you'll regret in the future. I don't think you can necessarily stop that, but that doesn't mean you can't better yourself! It probably depends on the people involved. I've been told of some things I do in the future. Even bad things. But things happen all the time. The best we can do is learn from it and maybe make up for it.

It's hard to be in the situation though.

[ She thinks back to Sasuke and how much he had grown during his time here. There's a chance, she hopes, that when he returns home to Konoha that he'll remember his time deep down. ]

Even still, it's nice for them to have an opportunity to live a different life.

I never thought I'd have so much free time, but here I am with it. I could choose to kick back and do things I never have the chance to do back home for example. It's really a nice opportunity, especially if you know that your actions here will hardly if ever reflect your actions back home.

It's nice to have free time! I like it here. People are so friendly and happy. My friends are also happy. Back home, things were kind of difficult, so I think everyone is happy to have the chance to relax here.

I like it here. There's a lot of new things to learn, and I wouldn't have had the chance to meet so many people. [World destroyed and all.]
