Melodic music fills the ear of a girl who hears better than most and that alone is what snaps her fully alert. When she last thought of her own free will, there was a battle raging on around her with no time to think of the simpler things in life like music and friends she'll never see again. There's no familiar warmth of chakra that belonged to another and Kakashi--what happened to him? So many unanswered questions plague at her mind, but the most important of them all? Where was she? Normally she might be able to pick up on a powerful Genjutsu before, but this didn't feel like anything she's studied before. Her body felt unlike her own as she felt something sink to the bottom of her stomach.

    [ VIDEO A: EARLY MORNING ]
I don't understand. [ An onslaught of helplessness plagues Sakura and so when the PokeGear is nudged on by accident (she doesn't bother to treat her "belongings" carefully since they aren't her own), she's unaware that the scene is being shown live to so many others. ] This isn't supposed to be... None of this makes sense... I need to return... Naruto--[ The name spoken with more worry and fondness than ever before. ]--just hang on.

[ All of these phrases come in broken and cut abruptly at times, the pack shifting with her movements. When it jerks suddenly and pops out from the pack being placed roughly onto the ground, there's a teenager girl who looks more worn than anything else (those dark spots under her eyes aren't doing much for her looks) clad in a green vest staring down at the PokeGear as though it were a foreign object. To most newcomers in New Bark Town, it usually is foreign. ]

This is? [ Shaking her head, she picks it up and places it back into the pack without knowing any better. A shout for her attention though might keep her from dismissing it entirely. ]

    [ VIDEO B: EVENING ]
[ Once Sakura's discovered more about this world (as well as the inevitable "no escape" aspect), it is only appropriate that she gives a more proper introduction. This time though she's without the scratches and scrapes (they're just covered up by her hair and bandages) and she's changed into a fresh pair of clothes. Also of note is the fact her hair is loose with nothing holding it back now, no for now she looks like more peaceful than she did this morning. Holding the PokeGear, it seems she's at least aware of it's purpose now. ]

Hey there, I'm new to this place so I'll ask for your patience in advance if that's alright. My name is Sakura Haruno and there's no need to explain the situation to me--I understand. [ Boldly declaring her name? No, she just knows the PokeGear gives away her full registered name anyway so there's no point in concealing it. ] We're all stuck here no matter what's going on back at home, but if there are theories as to how we can return, let's hear them. I have the time.

[ Plenty of time now, she might add if it didn't feel attention seeking in any way. ] Curiously, do people talk about where they come from here? I'm interested in hearing about other villages if you're not too busy. Huh, that's kind of a personal question too, isn't it? Sorry, sorry. [ Waving her free hand apologetically. ] Been a while since I've had a normal conversation so I'm acting all weird. Anyway, it'd be nice if someone replied to this... anyone, anyone at all really.

[ While she did start off headstrong with her broadcast, by the end of it her voice cracks to indicate how feeble she really is. There's a reason she's not outright traveling like most do on their first day. Behind her is a small room with an ordinary looking bed--an indication that she's retiring somewhere within the starter town for the evening. ]

[The thing about Naruto is that he's formed a kind of habit where he checks the Pokegear for new messages or post several times a day. And by several, I mean an awful lot. It really is a great device for someone as sociable (and nosy) as him, they really need this kind of thing in Konoha!

So it doesn't take him too long before he comes across yet another familiar face on the network.

And she's asking about him?? Oh boy what did he do this time?]

Sakura-chan? Hey, hey Sakura-chan! It's me!

[ She must be hallucinating now because she's hearing Naruto call for her. That's silly--why would he be calling out her name and insisting it's him if he's not here? While she's clever, she's still trying to get her wits about her enough to realize that the sound is coming from the bag on her back. ]

Huh? [ Reaching over her shoulder to withdraw the PokeGear again, she'll stare towards it suspiciously. ] Na...ru--nah. It can't be.

[ For one, she doesn't want to beat the poor device to death. ]

Of course it's me, who else is it gonna be!

[It hasn't dawned on him yet that she might now know where he's talking from.]

[ That's three more answers than Naruto might have thought up on his own. ]

You're trapped? [ Sakura Gullible Haruno reporting in while she's in an UNKNOWN WORLD. ] Where?

[Haha she fell for it! Give him a sec to cover his mouth so she dosn't here him snickering.]

Yeah! In this thing called the Pokegear, it's metal and plastic and I'm trapped in it! Can you hear where my voice is coming from?

Sakura-chan heeeeeelp, you've gotta save meeeeee!

[ So close and yet so far. Sakura's not stupid enough to believe that, but she's at least holding the PokeGear out a respectable distance to show that look of disbelief. ]

I thought you were serious, Naruto-kun. [ Rule one of Naruto: never take the main character seriously. ]

No look I'm really trapped!

[Cue him dramatically pressing his face up against it, he really is trapped! Though whatever is behind him looks pretty much like some sort of bedroom...]

[ Not sure if trust, but skeptical enough to raise a brow. ]

Naruto-kun, quit playing around. If you're really trapped, I'm going to throw this on the ground and break it open. Better grab onto something tightly.

[When most people say that it is an empty threat but... he knows Sakura WELL ENOUGH to know that she really will smash the thing to bits.]

Okay okay wait, don't break it! It was a joke, a joke! I'm not trapped it's just.. a communication device. Kinda like radios but.. with pictures too.

[ This was almost the shortest intro post ever. ]

Is that what this is? [ Turning it over and around, Naruto might be able to get a nice look at Sakura's leet war threads. Minus weapons, of course. Always without those in this place. ] Wait! Naruto-kun, does that mean you're really here too?

[ No, that's not relief in her voice and those aren't tears in the corner of her eyes. ]

[He sees them- and it also gives him a vague idea as to where abouts in her life she's been snatched from. A sigh of relief, he doesn't think he could handle yet another of his friends being here and not knowing anything from the past few years, and it would hurt even more if it were Sakura.]

Yeah, I'm fine. I've been here two months already, but nobody notices at home it's like.. some weird time-space jutsu, except it's not.

[Others can probably explain it better than he can.]

But you're from the same time as me, right? You've gotta be, dressed like that!

[ What doubt there may have been is gone; Sakura's thoroughly convinced that since Naruto was just in front of her before she passed out that he has to be the same one she saw. ]

Are you in one of these houses too? [ Pulling the gear away to shout: ] Hey Naruto-kun!

[ Not even realizing her mistake here. She's had a rough few days. ]

I'm not in the mood to play hide and seek.

I'm in Cianwood with my Mom and Dad. You've gotta be in Newbark, right? Everyone wakes up in Newbark. [Everyone except y'know.. the people that don't.]

Cianwood? That's nowhere near here.

[ At least she's had the decency to look at a paper map. What kind of respectable ninja wouldn't? ]

What are you doing all the way out there? [ Wait--what? ] Your parents?

Yeah it's the other side of the region but don't worry! I'll definitely find a way to come and meet you as soon as I can!

[They were about to leave for Olivine, but they can wait a day or two, right? Or they can meet the rest in Oliveine- either way he's determined to go get her so she isn't on her own. Maybe he can ask Tenten for a ride...]

And yeah, my parents! People can show up here after they're dead and they both turned up recently! Hehe.

[ No, she needs a moment. After what he's said about not having his friends around, there's something warm in her chest at the thought of him being here with his parents. All that time they never had to spend together. ]

No, that's not necessary. [ It stings, but placing his own happiness before her own is the right thing to do. ] You should remain with them.

It'll be okay, I promise! I want you to be here too! We're about to start traveling and training more and it's gonna be really cool!

[He couldn't sit around this place knowing that Sakura was over there on her own, no matter what.]

[ Traveling, training--they're really getting into this. But wait, she needs to explain why she's adamant about this. ]

[Though they've split into two groups now, all the Konoha shinobi travel together, it's just what they do. Sakura shouldn't be left out either!]
