Melodic music fills the ear of a girl who hears better than most and that alone is what snaps her fully alert. When she last thought of her own free will, there was a battle raging on around her with no time to think of the simpler things in life like music and friends she'll never see again. There's no familiar warmth of chakra that belonged to another and Kakashi--what happened to him? So many unanswered questions plague at her mind, but the most important of them all? Where was she? Normally she might be able to pick up on a powerful Genjutsu before, but this didn't feel like anything she's studied before. Her body felt unlike her own as she felt something sink to the bottom of her stomach.
[ VIDEO A: EARLY MORNING ]
I don't understand. [ An onslaught of helplessness plagues Sakura and so when the PokeGear is nudged on by accident (she doesn't bother to treat her "belongings" carefully since they aren't her own), she's unaware that the scene is being shown live to so many others. ] This isn't supposed to be... None of this makes sense... I need to return... Naruto--[ The name spoken with more worry and fondness than ever before. ]--just hang on.
[ All of these phrases come in broken and cut abruptly at times, the pack shifting with her movements. When it jerks suddenly and pops out from the pack being placed roughly onto the ground, there's a teenager girl who looks more worn than anything else (those dark spots under her eyes aren't doing much for her looks) clad in a green vest staring down at the PokeGear as though it were a foreign object. To most newcomers in New Bark Town, it usually is foreign. ]
This is? [ Shaking her head, she picks it up and places it back into the pack without knowing any better. A shout for her attention though might keep her from dismissing it entirely. ]
[ VIDEO B: EVENING ]
[ Once Sakura's discovered more about this world (as well as the inevitable "no escape" aspect), it is only appropriate that she gives a more proper introduction. This time though she's without the scratches and scrapes (they're just covered up by her hair and bandages) and she's changed into a fresh pair of clothes. Also of note is the fact her hair is loose with nothing holding it back now, no for now she looks like more peaceful than she did this morning. Holding the PokeGear, it seems she's at least aware of it's purpose now. ]
Hey there, I'm new to this place so I'll ask for your patience in advance if that's alright. My name is Sakura Haruno and there's no need to explain the situation to me--I understand. [ Boldly declaring her name? No, she just knows the PokeGear gives away her full registered name anyway so there's no point in concealing it. ] We're all stuck here no matter what's going on back at home, but if there are theories as to how we can return, let's hear them. I have the time.
[ Plenty of time now, she might add if it didn't feel attention seeking in any way. ] Curiously, do people talk about where they come from here? I'm interested in hearing about other villages if you're not too busy. Huh, that's kind of a personal question too, isn't it? Sorry, sorry. [ Waving her free hand apologetically. ] Been a while since I've had a normal conversation so I'm acting all weird. Anyway, it'd be nice if someone replied to this... anyone, anyone at all really.
[ While she did start off headstrong with her broadcast, by the end of it her voice cracks to indicate how feeble she really is. There's a reason she's not outright traveling like most do on their first day. Behind her is a small room with an ordinary looking bed--an indication that she's retiring somewhere within the starter town for the evening. ]

So it doesn't take him too long before he comes across yet another familiar face on the network.
And she's asking about him?? Oh boy what did he do this time?]
Sakura-chan? Hey, hey Sakura-chan! It's me!

He had his hitai-ate showing proudly enough, though his expression was somewhere between pensive and a little alarmed.]
Sakura you said? Okay, quick rundown. It seems like it's died down int he last few weeks, but be careful about how open you are with being a shinobi, hitai-ates are kinda like bullseyes around here for one of the organizations. Yeah I know you can see mine but the guy paintin the stupid things kinda already saw me face to face to yeah, kinda pointless for me to hide it you know?
I heard you say Naruto earlier too, you know him? Does that mean you know Sasuke too? When are you from?
no subject
Thankfully, the angle wasn't anything to determine that's what it was. A simple headband for a young lady--that's what she'll pass it off as from now on. Tossing it onto the bed behind her, Sakura continues to sit in her silence while considering everything he's asked. ]
You're asking a lot, but not giving much in return. [ Why does this boy know both Naruto and Sasuke? Why does he know her name? ]

There's nothing wrong with villages if the area is built well for them. [ Just look at all the trouble all the cities in the movies have. ] Villages are beneficial because they build a more tight-knit community. When everyone knows their neighbors by name, it might be a lot more trouble for them to go missing or for something to be off about them.

not to mention keeping up with two Uzumakiand more inclined to sleep in than chat with the population, but Naruto's mention of his other teammate's arrival had prompted him to check the gear later on in the day to at least say hello. ...And hopefully not startle her too much.]I'm afraid any information I have about other villages would be a little out of date, Sakura Haruno.
But, most don't seem to mind talking about their homes, in my experience.
no subject
Well, save for the experiences she's had prior to arriving in Johto, but still seeing it with her own two eyes is overwhelming enough. Hearing him say her name leaves her breathless, but soon enough she manages. ]
Is our home known well enough in these lands? [ That's the best she can manage in her shock. ]

Two weeks was good enough after all. Plus Naruto had mentioned yet another person from his world coming so might as well see what they'll like.]I asked the same questions when I got here too but I don't have any answers to share with you, sorry.
Its kind of is a personal question but I'm pretty sure there's more than enough people who'd be so willing to talk about their home. [Like that Eridan guy...]

[ Sakura's verbal assault isn't very friendly, but there's no hostility to it. It was more as though she had a curiosity with a never ending appetite and that eagerness alone is what drives her. Pure adrenaline to understand her situation fully, then maybe, just maybe, she can crash. ]

Well no, it would be rude, but she's not implying that you'd make a big deal because how would you even know-- ... nevermind.]
I've only talked to a few people here, no really in depth conversations about other worlds, but they don't seem to mind too much, either. I wouldn't worry about it being too personal a question, not here.
no subject
But she's speaking as though they're familiar with each other and that leaves Sakura confused. So far she's met people who don't know her, not the other way around. ]

People do talk about where they come from - I think it mostly depends on the person, however. If you don't feel comfortable discussing it, I'm sure no one would mind! Likewise, I don't mind explaining things about my home, but I'm afraid it tends to confuse.
I'm Aradia Megido, by the way! It's nice to make your acquaintance, Sakura. And you might not need this if you understand, but I make a habit of handing it out anyway, so.
[ She'll just attach it regardless. ]

He's hesitant on whether or not to actually answer this, especially with what he had talked to Lightning about. But, something else wins out and he ends up sighing at himself before the feed clicks on.
When it does, at first it shows nothing but forest. It doesn't take long for the trees shown to stop moving... Only to move again as Sasuke turns the gear to focus on his face.
Thirteen years old. No headband (though at the moment he wouldn't feel right wearing it anyway). An expression lacking scorn or hatred.
Uchiha Sasuke, as he was three years ago.]
Sakura. I was wondering when you'd get here.
no subject
[ His name leaves her breathless or is that just seeing him at this age? It may have been surreal if it was not this face. For Sakura may know what Sasuke looks like years down the road, but that's the face she sees often in her dreams. Uncorrupted, innocent, and not without the title of criminal.
To see him like this is another thing entirely. To even hear that he was thinking of her might have set her heart aflutter prior, but she's just left a war zone. Thinking about Sasuke and her heart are the least of her concerns. ]

Another future-rookie, huh? You're the one who trains with Tsunade in the future?
