[ A relaxed posture is what greets everyone as Sakura sits with her arms resting against her knees and the PokeGear in her hands. It isn't a very good pose for most girls, but she wears shorts so there's nothing incriminating to see here. In her lap squirms a tiny baby Pokemon as it struggles to get some more sleep. ]

So there's a big party coming up, huh? [ Sakura's in a relatively good mood this morning as the soft hum of the city's background music fills the silence in-between her commentary. ] I happened to miss last years having come in a few weeks after, but a lot of people talked about it for months on end. I guess the same will be said for this year's gathering as well, yeah?

[ Heh. ] I'll be going, of course. Right now, I'm more interested in hearing about what I might need to bring with me. There's some of you still here that attended the event last year, isn't there? Give me the details.

Oh, does anyone know if we can bring our Pokemon? I've got--[ She pauses and silently moves her mouth to count something. One, two, three, four... ]--yeah, I've got four baby Pokemon that might need my attention for the next couple weeks. It'd be terrible to put freshly hatched babies back into a Pokeball before they have enough time to stretch out their little limbs.

So let me know, will you?

I'm not sure... would that be what's expected of us? If no one else is going to dress up their Pokemon, I don't think it'd be entirely necessary for me to do so.

[ Pinching her brow. ] Still... I don't want to stick out like a sore thumb either. What do you plan to do?

[apego]

Well, I think you should do whatever your Pokemon would like to do! I'm sure they wish to have fun as well, and so whatever would be best for them to do so, you should do it!

There shouldn't be any problem with them standing out. That makes them different, and there is never anything wrong with that! Besides, think of how cute they would look if they had on small, nice clothing made just for them!

If you'd like, I can show you the clothes that were made for my Audino?

[punches]

You have an Audino?

[ Sakura would have declined the offer up until that point. Bubblegum, the Audino that her teammate named, was a Pokemon she was trying to reconnect with. Maybe dressing her up would make things better? ]

Do you mind? If it's not that much trouble, that is.

I do, yes! She's the first Pokemon I received when I was brought here! Just give me a moment and I can go get Momo's clothes.

[The PokeGear gets turned off for about a minute, but when Natsuki comes back, there's the sudden view of a happy looking Audino wearing a pink and white scarf along with pink mittens.]

See? Doesn't she look cute?!

[punches]

[ That is cute. ] All dressed up for winter, huh?

It's getting a bit too warm for stuff like that. How does she like having her paws covered? Is that okay for her?

[apego]

It's okay, I've put those clothes away for when it gets cold. And Momo only wears the mittens when she needs to, so if she wants to have them taken off, she just asks! I don't want her feeling uncomfortable. Right, Momo?

[The Audino gives a tilt of its head, almost appearing confused before it looks down at its hands and then raises them up, signaling that it would like to have the mittens off. Ohp, better take care of that.]


Aha, that's okay. We just needed to show them off for a bit.

[punches]

[ Laughing. ] You must understand her very well though I guess that kind of signal is universal.

Thank you, Momo, for showing them off to me. I have an Audino myself, her name is Bubblegum. I'm trying to find something nice for her to wear too, so maybe you two can switch outfits sometime?

[ Yes, she's attempting to speak to the Pokemon over the gear now. Oops. ]

[Squatting down, Natsuki reaches out a hand to tug off one of the mittens allowing his Audino to remove the other and simply scamper off to put the accessory away.]

Ah, you have an Audino as well? That's such a cute name! But yes, I don't mind if they shared clothes at all! Momo doesn't have very many at the moment, but I'm hoping that my friend Hijirikawa will be able to make more-- in fact, if there's something you'd like Bubblegum to wear, you can tell me and I can ask Hijirikawa to make it for you!

[punches]

Well, we do a lot of walking together so maybe she can use something for her feet? It'd be strange to ask that of you without offering to return the favor, so I'll see if I can make something for Momo as well.

[ She'll just have to think about what it is an Audino might like to have first. ]
