[ A relaxed posture is what greets everyone as Sakura sits with her arms resting against her knees and the PokeGear in her hands. It isn't a very good pose for most girls, but she wears shorts so there's nothing incriminating to see here. In her lap squirms a tiny baby Pokemon as it struggles to get some more sleep. ]

So there's a big party coming up, huh? [ Sakura's in a relatively good mood this morning as the soft hum of the city's background music fills the silence in-between her commentary. ] I happened to miss last years having come in a few weeks after, but a lot of people talked about it for months on end. I guess the same will be said for this year's gathering as well, yeah?

[ Heh. ] I'll be going, of course. Right now, I'm more interested in hearing about what I might need to bring with me. There's some of you still here that attended the event last year, isn't there? Give me the details.

Oh, does anyone know if we can bring our Pokemon? I've got--[ She pauses and silently moves her mouth to count something. One, two, three, four... ]--yeah, I've got four baby Pokemon that might need my attention for the next couple weeks. It'd be terrible to put freshly hatched babies back into a Pokeball before they have enough time to stretch out their little limbs.

So let me know, will you?

That it is. In fact, it's far more odd for pokémon not be included in events around this place. As the culture here seems to revolve around them entirely, it's not too surprising.

[He pauses briefly before continuing.]

There have been a few events where this place has gone a bit, ah, odd. That's the only times where pokémon have been inaccessible.

[punches]

Odd... [ That's worth investigating, but for now she may as well keep to the same topic. ]

It's pretty common for Pokemon to attend social events is what you're saying and they won't stick out like a sore thumb? Any dos or don'ts when it comes to taking them along to formal occasions or should I just wing it?

They won't stick out at all. If I remember correctly, our hosts brought along some of their own pokémon as well. As for dos and don'ts...

[France pauses briefly, a short flash of surprise passing over his face.]

I can't really think of any don'ts besides making sure they don't get into too much trouble. I suppose it would be a bit much to bring some of the larger pokemon inside. I wouldn't suggest bringing a Wailord.

[There's a light, jesting note to his tone on the last sentence.]

[punches]

... Don't tell me someone's tried to do that before.

[ Tiny Pokemon she can do. So many of her current team hasn't evolved and they still have a lot of growing up to do. Naruto's on the other hand? ]

We'll try to limit the larger Pokemon we bring with us for sure. Thank you.

[France grins a little sheepishly.]

Not to my knowledge. I may have been a bit facetious there.

It's greatly appreciated even if I suck at saying so. [ Really, it is. ]

Are you looking forward to it? Not to keep you any longer than I have, but I need to know if this is worth all the attention it's getting.

No worries. There are certainly those worse at manners that I've encountered.

[His eyes take on a bright, happy light.]

I am. I greatly enjoyed last year. Most of the time, the things that happen in this place are unsettling at best and generally deeply disturbing. My world works nothing like this place. The prom last year was not only something I could relate to but also allowed me a few hours to truly enjoy myself in public with my significant other. I don't know if you've noticed, but there's very few places for couples to go out around here.

[punches]

[ She feels almost bad that he's run into people like that before, but not enough to comment on it. She listens to what he has to say, taking it all in. ]

I don't know... I've been with my teammate for most of my stay here.
