[ A relaxed posture is what greets everyone as Sakura sits with her arms resting against her knees and the PokeGear in her hands. It isn't a very good pose for most girls, but she wears shorts so there's nothing incriminating to see here. In her lap squirms a tiny baby Pokemon as it struggles to get some more sleep. ]

So there's a big party coming up, huh? [ Sakura's in a relatively good mood this morning as the soft hum of the city's background music fills the silence in-between her commentary. ] I happened to miss last years having come in a few weeks after, but a lot of people talked about it for months on end. I guess the same will be said for this year's gathering as well, yeah?

[ Heh. ] I'll be going, of course. Right now, I'm more interested in hearing about what I might need to bring with me. There's some of you still here that attended the event last year, isn't there? Give me the details.

Oh, does anyone know if we can bring our Pokemon? I've got--[ She pauses and silently moves her mouth to count something. One, two, three, four... ]--yeah, I've got four baby Pokemon that might need my attention for the next couple weeks. It'd be terrible to put freshly hatched babies back into a Pokeball before they have enough time to stretch out their little limbs.

So let me know, will you?

Ummm, well last year we could bring six pokemon with us. But only one of them was allowed to be [she's raising her right hand high above her head, and well, over the screen too. Madoka, what are you doing?] ...so big that you could fly, or ride on it.

I -- ummm -- I guess the rule will be the same this year? So, ummmmm, four babies and two others should be okay as long as you keep the size limit in mind~!

Umm, well, only the ones happening in this world? I-it's like a prom for the Pokemon too, and since locals are hosting, i-it kind of makes sense to invite a full roster, r-right?

[Good question about dressing them up too though.]

It's okay! I'm not sure... [looking even more nervous here.] Umm, maybe you can find clothes from the stores since the world is --ummm, all about them o-or maybe someone in the network knows how to... make clothes or accessories for them.

Ah, but I don't t-think dressing them up is required! B-But it's not like it's forbidden either, so whichever you want to do should be okay. Th-ey just want them to have fun too, I think.

Ehhh? [She looks surprised at first, definitely not used to people wanting to meet her. Then her looks kind of overjoyed after that.] I'd like that very much! I doubt we'll be lonely at the prom, there will be so many people who just come to talk to people and you we might make many new friends there. But it's nice to have some plans for meeting people there too.

--ah, I can't make anything though. I don't know how to sew. But my friend Hijirikawa can! He made special clothes for my Pokemon for Christmas! He's very good!

I'm not sure... would that be what's expected of us? If no one else is going to dress up their Pokemon, I don't think it'd be entirely necessary for me to do so.

Well, I think you should do whatever your Pokemon would like to do! I'm sure they wish to have fun as well, and so whatever would be best for them to do so, you should do it!

There shouldn't be any problem with them standing out. That makes them different, and there is never anything wrong with that! Besides, think of how cute they would look if they had on small, nice clothing made just for them!

If you'd like, I can show you the clothes that were made for my Audino?

I do, yes! She's the first Pokemon I received when I was brought here! Just give me a moment and I can go get Momo's clothes.

[The PokeGear gets turned off for about a minute, but when Natsuki comes back, there's the sudden view of a happy looking Audino wearing a pink and white scarf along with pink mittens.]

It's okay, I've put those clothes away for when it gets cold. And Momo only wears the mittens when she needs to, so if she wants to have them taken off, she just asks! I don't want her feeling uncomfortable. Right, Momo?

[The Audino gives a tilt of its head, almost appearing confused before it looks down at its hands and then raises them up, signaling that it would like to have the mittens off. Ohp, better take care of that.]

Aha, that's okay. We just needed to show them off for a bit.

Ah, you have an Audino as well? That's such a cute name! But yes, I don't mind if they shared clothes at all! Momo doesn't have very many at the moment, but I'm hoping that my friend Hijirikawa will be able to make more-- in fact, if there's something you'd like Bubblegum to wear, you can tell me and I can ask Hijirikawa to make it for you!

I brought the equivalent of what I generally do when I go to a formal social event back home: my 'Gear, wallet with some money and identification, and mints. We were allowed to bring up to six pokémon to my knowledge, and I do remember quite a few running about and being allowed to take part of the festivities. There's quite a lot of space both inside and outside, and I do remember the grounds to be pleasing.

That it is. In fact, it's far more odd for pokémon not be included in events around this place. As the culture here seems to revolve around them entirely, it's not too surprising.

There have been a few events where this place has gone a bit, ah, odd. That's the only times where pokémon have been inaccessible.

It's pretty common for Pokemon to attend social events is what you're saying and they won't stick out like a sore thumb? Any dos or don'ts when it comes to taking them along to formal occasions or should I just wing it?

They won't stick out at all. If I remember correctly, our hosts brought along some of their own pokémon as well. As for dos and don'ts...

I can't really think of any don'ts besides making sure they don't get into too much trouble. I suppose it would be a bit much to bring some of the larger pokemon inside. I wouldn't suggest bringing a Wailord.

No worries. There are certainly those worse at manners that I've encountered.

I am. I greatly enjoyed last year. Most of the time, the things that happen in this place are unsettling at best and generally deeply disturbing. My world works nothing like this place. The prom last year was not only something I could relate to but also allowed me a few hours to truly enjoy myself in public with my significant other. I don't know if you've noticed, but there's very few places for couples to go out around here.
